Dear [FNAME]

Concrete aesthetics play a key role in assessing the quality of a structure. This aesthetics are a by-product of correct selection of raw materials, proper mix design and aggregate gradation, adequate compaction of the concrete after placement, use of good quality formwork and application of a good quality “form release agent”, also known as shuttering oil or mould oil.

Our exclusive range of form release agents “Reebol” provide a comprehensive solution to the production of

aesthetically pleasing fair finished concrete by allowing easy de-stripping of shutters. Reebol range of form release agents are compatible with various types of formworks like wood, ply, steel, and aluminium.

Our wide range of products include:

• Reebol

• Reebol Standard

• Auramol M60

Reebol range of products ensure the following performance benefits as compared to commonly available oils/conventional waste oil:

1. Reduction of stain/marks on concrete surface

2. Reduction on pinholes and bugholes on concrete surface

3. Increase the lifespan of formwork and allow for higher repetition of shutter

1. Post de-stripping and removal of formwork, any residual mortar/slurry should be removed using chipping tool, scraper, buffing tool and wire brush etc.

2. The formwork should be wiped clean using a clean cloth or sponge

3. Reebol range of products should be applied onto the cleaned formwork, as thinly as possible, using a knapsack sprayer or short nap cotton roller

     • Troubleshooting surface defects on Concrete Surface

Surface defects on concrete can occur due to multiple reasons. The following section highlights some of the challenges faced onsite, and the probable root causes. The necessary corrective methods should be adopted to reduce and possibly eliminate the defects.

Do’s

• Use of PPE like hand gloves is recommended during the application of form release agent.

• Preparation of formwork prior to application of form oil is a must.

• Shake the form release agent in the barrel well before use.

• Use a knapsack sprayer (at a pressure of 1.5-2 bar pressure) or a cotton roller for application of form release agent

Don’ts

•Do not use foam roller/sponge/dirty cloth to apply the form release agent on the formwork.

• Do not keep the barrels exposed to constant sunlight.
